Located 20 minutes south of Brisbane’s CBD, the John Paul College campus features extensive natural bushland and modern facilities to support a cutting-edge technology program and wide-ranging cultural and sporting opportunities. JPC’s close proximity to the CBD ensures that convenient local bus routes are available for students in the local area. John Paul College is a Christian ecumenical school set on a 33-hectare campus in the Logan City region. Established in 1982, the school has a proud academic, sporting and performing arts tradition. Amenities include five sporting ovals, an indoor sports centre with two multipurpose courts and a gym, and an aquatic centre with a 10-lane, 25-metre pool. Almost half of the students are involved in the performing arts, and John Paul College has more than 60 ensembles and activities across instrumental music, choral music, drama, cheerleading and dance. Facilities include a performing arts centre with a concert auditorium, a dance studio, private rehearsal rooms for group and individual instrumental and vocal lessons, theatre studios and classrooms for academic music lessons. There is also a 250-seat theatre for performances. Almost 15 per cent of enrolments are from overseas, and many of these students live in homestays arranged by the school with students’ families and members of the local community. A small proportion of country and interstate students also choose the homestay option.

- John Paul College is a member of The Associated Schools (TAS) sporting competition, which offers the pre-eminent co-educational sporting competition in Queensland
- Regional and other representative pathways are supported through this Association
- The College is well known and recognised for the extensive and excellent opportunities offered through its Performing Arts program, including additional tuition with elite music tutors and the opportunity to join more than 20 different ensembles and choirs
- Its extensive Dance and Cheer programs have achieved excellent results
- Domestic and international tours are also available to students in Performing Arts and Sport.
