Rosny College is a co-educational senior high school for students in Years 11 and 12. It is known for its excellent learning experiences, academic curriculum, Vocational Education and Training programs and High Achievers Program. Rosny College is located on Hobart’s Eastern Shore, a safe and welcoming area with stunning water views. We are justifiably proud of our achievements in both academic and vocational learning. In 2016, seven students from Rosny College were among the top 100 academic performers in Tasmania. At Rosny College, students can try new activities such as Outdoor Education, take part in our outstanding Performing Arts program, or develop leadership skills by assisting with our common room social activities. Students are encouraged to take the opportunity to become part of the Rosny College community. Rosny College has established a reputation as a high-performing school, with an emphasis on quality teaching and high standards of behaviour in a safe and supportive environment.

- Vocational Education and Training (VET) Tourism Program: Areas of study include ecotourism, adventure tourism and heritage tourism on a local and national scale
- Media Production: The Media Production department at Rosny College is highly regarded throughout the industry in Tasmania. Opportunities for students include live television studio broadcasting, advertising, film writing and production. Students work with real businesses to create media products for them. Graduates have successfully gained internships and employment with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC)
- Learning: Enhancing Academic Potential (L.E.A.P.): A program for high-achieving students. The program includes academic and study planning, time-management skills, support and ongoing follow-up to sustain students’ academic success
