Mindarie Senior College is a mature learning environment designed to meet the educational needs of young adults completing Years 11 and 12. The College has an inclusive environment supported by a mentoring program, academic support strategies and strong pastoral care. Students can achieve their personal best and be well prepared for further study or work. The culture is built upon mutual respect and trust, centred around the College’s Young Adult Ethos. The relationship between staff and students reflects a mature approach. The College conducts classes over four days, with no timetabled classes on Wednesdays. This allows students to access the College for study purposes, meet with their teachers, experience learning through structured work placement or attend training. The College also offers an extensive selection of ATAR courses, as well as courses that are not commonly available in other schools. Mindarie Senior College is located 38 kilometres from Perth city centre. It is ideally located near parks and beautiful white-sand beaches. The area is well serviced by public transport, with local shops, restaurants and cafés within convenient reach. Students can explore Aboriginal culture and see koalas at Yanchep National Park.
