Ocean Reef Senior High School offers a wide range of specialist courses for students, including Marine Studies, Contemporary Music, Elite Soccer and an extension program for academically talented students. The school is close to the Indian Ocean, which means students enjoy an active lifestyle filled with swimming and other outdoor activities. Teachers and students are very supportive of international students and welcome them into the school community. The school accepts international students from Years 7 to 12. Ocean Reef Senior High School’s teaching and learning programs are designed to be challenging and innovative, stimulating curiosity, creativity and the ability to be reflective, placing students on a pathway that enables them to realise their aspirations through opportunity. The school employs experienced and highly trained teachers who guide students towards achieving their Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE). They tailor learning to the needs of each student, so every student can thrive. Students can study courses based on the career pathway they wish to pursue. This includes studying for the Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR), which leads to university, as well as opportunities for vocational training and workplace learning.
